The Getafe CF Foundation holds a new workshop session with the Local Police to raise awareness about violence in football.

Our foundation held a new workshop session last Monday, April 27, in the Press Room of the Coliseum Stadium, in collaboration with the Local Police of Getafe, in an activity carried out thanks to the collaboration of the Getafe City Council and the Agent Tutor unit of the Local Police of Getafe. The objective of the session was to raise awareness among La Base teams about the importance of preventing violence in football and promoting responsible behavior both on and off the field. The session focused on education in values and the promotion of respect as fundamental pillars to ensure safe and positive sports environments for all participants.

The session was conducted in a participatory format based on debate, reflection, and the analysis of practical cases, which allowed the players of La Base to directly understand the consequences that violence in football can cause, both for the individuals involved and for the sports and personal environment. Through real-life examples and everyday situations, participants were able to identify inappropriate behaviors, reflect on their emotional and social impact, and acquire tools to act responsibly in the face of conflict situations in the sports field.

This initiative is part of the educational program that the Getafe CF Foundation develops together with local entities with the aim of promoting values such as respect, coexistence, and fair play among young athletes. Through this type of training activity, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to creating safe environments and to the comprehensive development of La Base players, fostering a sports culture based on respect and shared responsibility.
