End of the regular season for the reserve team in Orihuela

Getafe B faced the final matchday of Group V in the Segunda RFEF against an Orihuela team that was still vying for qualification. During the first half, a thrilling duel unfolded, in which both teams maintained high intensity, but the chances would eventually come for Manu del Moral's side.

In the second half, after the break, Getafe B kept trying, especially creating danger from set pieces. And in a cross delivered by Rubi, the first goal almost came from Julen Jon's header. However, the play was ruled offside and was immediately followed by Orihuela's first goal. On the counterattack, the Alicante team scored a second goal. Even so, Manu del Moral's team did not give up and kept pushing for the match.

Carlos León managed to narrow the gap with a stunning goal in the 88th minute. The team tried to equalize, but it was ultimately not possible.

We finished the regular league phase in fourth place, with a total of 57 points. Now we have to wait for Monday's draw at 4:00 PM to find out who our opponent will be in the playoffs.

Possible opponents: UD Ourense, UD Logroñés, UD Poblense, and CDA Águilas.
