Getafe B secured three valuable points this weekend after defeating Tenerife B 2-1 at the Ciudad Deportiva, in a direct clash in the standings.

The team led by Manu Del Moral delivered a very solid first half and managed to take the lead on the scoreboard shortly before halftime thanks to a spectacular goal by Rubi from outside the box.

After the break, the visiting reserve team managed to equalize the match, forcing the Azulones to double their efforts in the final minutes. Martín Cuéllar stepped up in the dying moments to score the winning goal and ignite euphoria at home.
