Getafe CF and Olympique de Lyon have reached an agreement for the loan of Orel Mangala until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The Belgian international, 28 years old, strengthens the blue midfield with his top-level experience and a proven track record in some of the main European leagues.

Trained in the youth academies of RRC Etterbeek and RSC Anderlecht, Mangala continued his development in the academy of Borussia Dortmund before starting his professional football career with VfB Stuttgart. His performance opened the doors to the Premier League, where he represented Nottingham Forest, before joining Olympique de Lyon. During his career, he has also been a full international with Belgium, earning 23 caps.
