Getafe CF and AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the return of Enes Ünal to the Azulones. The Turkish striker returns to the Coliseum and signs for three seasons, until June 2029.
Ünal joined the club in the summer of 2020 from Villarreal CF, starting a period that lasted until January 2024. During that time, the forward played 109 official matches in the Azulones jersey and scored 36 goals, becoming one of the key offensive figures in the club's recent history.
In January 2024, the striker joined AFC Bournemouth, initially on loan, before becoming a permanent player for the English team. After his time in the Premier League, Ünal now embarks on the journey back to the place where he left an indelible mark. The Turkish striker returns to wear the Azulones jersey and will begin a new chapter as a Getafe CF player.
109 matches, 36 goals, and many memories later, Enes Ünal returns home.
Welcome back, Enes.
