Getafe Club de Fútbol and David Soria have reached an agreement for his renewal for four more seasons, thus extending our bond until June 2030.

Since his arrival at Getafe in the summer of 2018, David Soria has established himself as a key figure both on and off the pitch thanks to his performance, leadership, and commitment to our colors.

He recently reached the historic milestone of 300 official matches defending the goal of Getafe CF. Additionally, in the current season, David Soria has written a new chapter in the history of LALIGA by securing the second-highest record of consecutive starts in the competition, reaching 189 consecutive appearances and surpassing legends like Luis Arconada and Andoni Zubizarreta. Currently, he is just a few matches away from breaking the all-time record held by Andoni Larrañaga.

During these eight seasons as a Getafe player, Soria has been a key figure in some of the most important moments in the recent history of Getafe CF, contributing decisively to the club's European qualifications.

The renewal of David Soria is excellent news for the present and future of our club, which will continue to count on a top-level goalkeeper and an exemplary professional who perfectly represents the values of Getafe CF.
