Three more points in the season. Getafe beat Osasuna in a very entertaining match with plenty of goals and excitement right up to the final whistle. The rain that had been falling early in the morning did not prevent a fast-paced match from taking place. However, the chances were slow in coming. From the half hour mark onwards, the attacks began to take centre stage. Stefan Mitrovic opened the scoring with a header from a corner. The joy was short-lived at the Coliseum. The time it took Íker Muñoz to restore parity just before half-time.
The lead was restored at the start of the second half. Carmona, making his first appearance at the Coliseum, headed home from a great cross. Again, the Navarrese responded immediately. Budimir, from eleven yards, made it 2-2 with a shot that David Soria could do nothing about. José Bordalás opted for a triple substitution. In came Aleñá, Arambarri, and Óscar, who wore the blue shirt after his move to the Club in 2022.
More wood had to be put in to look for the win, and it was Mason Greenwood's turn. Football was fair and the goal came, the third one with a header. Nemanja Maksimovic made it 3-2, the eventual winner. It took a long spell of stoppage time, but Getafe had their second win of the season.
