Before the initial whistle, Getafe CF B remembered their teammate George Andrews and took to the field with a jersey signed by the entire squad and coaching staff.

The match was more evenly contested than the scoreline suggests. In the first half, a brilliant individual play by Moha Achraf allowed our team to take the lead with an incredible goal. The winger remembered George and dedicated the goal to him by showing the jersey with the message "Stay strong, George!" signed by all his teammates.

In the second half, second plays punished the team and led to a scoreline that was too lopsided compared to what was seen on the field.

Ultimately, Guadalajara came back to win the match 4-1.
