The countdown to the start of the 2026/2027 preseason has already begun. The team led by José Bordalás is about to return to work to prepare for a new campaign, in which they will face a demanding preparation schedule before the official start of the competition.

The blue team will play its first friendly match of the preseason on July 17, at 7:00 PM, against Reading Football Club, at the facilities of Oliva Nova Sports Resort.

This match adds to those already confirmed against CD Tenerife,  Real Valladolid, and Tottenham Hotspur, thus completing the team's first preparation matches during the summer.
