José Bordalás: "The team has worked well and they face the match with enthusiasm"

José Bordalás attended the media this morning in the press conference prior to matchday 15 against Villarreal at La Cerámica.

After the hard-fought victory of the team in the Copa del Rey match against CDA Navalcarnero, the coach confirmed that "the players have recovered well from the effort of Tuesday's match and against Elche, we have worked to prepare for the game and they have understood the match we have, which is very complicated against a great team, but they are excited."

He also spoke about the opponent's current form, "praising Villarreal, those of us who have been following them for years have seen how they have grown and they are where they are on their own merits, competing in LaLiga with the big teams."

He was asked about Allan Nyom after his good performance in the match against Elche, "he is a great professional, a good teammate, we enjoy his participation in the team a lot, not just because of the goal action, but because of his behavior, both on and off the pitch. Having him is always positive for everyone."

Finally, he referred to the 150 Azulones who are going to travel to support the team, "we are very grateful, they see the commitment the team has, hopefully we will play a great match for them and give them joy, because they deserve it, for their effort and for how they are always with us."
