The Estadio de la Cerámica paid tribute to the former CD Tenerife player with an emotional homage before and during the match, joining the initiative promoted by LALIGA, the RFEF, and Liga F.

Getafe C.F. and Villarreal C.F. joined the tribute organized by LALIGA, the RFEF, and Liga F in memory of Jesús de Miguel, a former CD Tenerife player who recently passed away. The Estadio de la Cerámica was the setting for a heartfelt remembrance under the slogan «Always in our memory».

Before the start of the match, both teams and the fans present in the stadium paid tribute to the footballer. The remembrance continued during the game when, in the 9th minute, coinciding with Jesús de Miguel's jersey number, the match was paused to show an emotional video in his memory, accompanied by applause from players and fans.

This initiative has been extended to stadiums across Spanish football as a gesture of unity, respect, and solidarity.
