The center-back is now the player with the most matches in Getafe's history.
Djené Dakonam has written a golden page in the history of Getafe C.F. today. The blue defender has become the player with the most matches played wearing the blue jersey in the first division (296), reaching this historic milestone in the match against Real Oviedo. An achievement that reflects the captain's commitment, consistency, and dedication since he arrived at the Coliseum in 2017 from the Belgian club Sint-Truidense.
Since his debut, Djené quickly established himself as one of the defensive pillars of the team, standing out for his leadership and solidity in the backline.
