Djené Dakonam will once again defend the colors of Togo during the upcoming international break. The Getafe C.F. player is part of the squad selected by Patrice Neveu for the Éperviers' next two matches.

The Togolese team will face two matches in the qualifying phase for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The first will take place on September 25 against Burundi at the Kégué Stadium, while four days later, on September 29, Togo will visit Zambia.

Djené will join his national team's training camp, which begins on September 20, to prepare for both matches.
