Getafe CF 'B' faced the ninth matchday of the championship with a trip to Valladolid to take on the best home team in the category, which until then had not even been at a disadvantage on their own turf.

Despite the strong start by the team led by Manu del Moral, the Valladolid side took the lead in the 9th minute with an incredible goal from outside the box. Far from being discouraged, our team stuck to their game plan and soon found their reward.

In the 17th minute, Joselu equalized with a great finish after a good team play. Shortly before halftime, in the 44th minute, Jesús Martínez completed the comeback with a spectacular backheel goal that made it 1-2, allowing us to head to the locker room with the lead.

After the break, the blue reserve team continued to show their ambition and extended their lead in the 56th minute, when the third goal of the match came from Sebas, thanks to a good play by Moha Achraf down the left wing.

However, the home team managed to close the gap and eventually equalized in the 72nd minute. From that point on, the match turned into a true back-and-forth battle, with chances for both teams.

Our team had the clearest opportunities in the final stretch and even appealed for a possible penalty due to a handball by a local defender inside the box. However, the play ended up turning into a counterattack that the Valladolid side capitalized on to score the decisive 4-3 in the last play of the match.

Next matchday, Getafe B will host UD Sanse. The game will take place next Sunday at 11:30 AM.
